As a counsellor Latifa regularly sees young people and adults in distress due to disturbing or traumatic life experiences. Such disturbances can often create difficulties which seem insurmountable, bringing us to a place of confusion, loneliness and isolation. Counselling offers a confidential accepting environment where you will have the opportunity to talk freely about what is bothering you with someone who will neither judge nor offer advice.

As a person-centred counsellor Latifa places the client at the centre of the process.  Her approach emphasises the formation of a sound therapeutic relationship where you will be supported to develop an understanding of what is happening for you.  You will be supported to begin planning for and working toward change which facilitates moving away from unhealthy patterns of thinking and behaving and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others.
